Established in Gimont in the Gers since 1926, Comtesse du Barry, a family business that is emblematic of the region, specializes in the production and marketing of foie gras, terrines and ready-made meals.

Very early on in its history, Comtesse du Barry endeavored to develop a diversified and innovative distribution network covering the entire country, outside of the mass distribution channels.

As a result, the company currently has a diversified and complete distribution force, with more than thirty boutiques, as many franchises, internet and mail order sales, which constitutes a major competitive advantage. The market conquest policy initiated by the Maïsadour Cooperative will be able to rely on the search for synergies between the companies in this sector.
